Chris Havey brings more than 20 years of experience in the kitchen and woodworking industry, with a career spanning manufacturing, supply chain, product development, and strategic operations. He currently serves as Director of Product Development at CNC Automation, where he focuses on innovation, automation, and building new partnerships across the industry. Prior to joining CNC Automation, Chris spent 19 years with Deslaurier Custom Cabinets in senior leadership, leading initiatives in supply chain management and new product introduction. His broad experience gives him a unique perspective from both the manufacturer and supplier sides of the industry.

Chris is seeking re-election to the CKCA Board because he is passionate about contributing to the long-term success and growth of the association and the Canadian kitchen industry as a whole. Having served on the Board since 2023, he hopes to become even more involved in committee work and strategic initiatives where his experience can add value. He is especially motivated by supporting the CKCA’s continued evolution as a skills-based organization, strengthening succession planning, and ensuring the association remains well positioned to support members and address industry challenges.

Chris brings a practical, collaborative leadership style and a deep commitment to helping the industry move forward. He is especially passionate about innovation, technology, and finding solutions that benefit businesses of all sizes across Canada. Above all, Chris genuinely loves this industry—its people, its entrepreneurial spirit, and the opportunity to help businesses grow through shared knowledge and experience.
